We work with over 400 volunteers to provide services for more than 700 older people in Southwark. As a result, our small staff team are always in need of some extra hands to help maintain our systems, keep important records, distribute communications and help with administration tasks.

This role could involve:
  • data entry on our database
  • answering the phones
  • calling service users or volunteers to check in on their experience with Link Age Southwark
  • assisting with mailing newsletters
  • photocopying and shredding
  • filing
This role requires:
  • a cheerful and friendly personality
  • good time keeping and reliability
  • ability to work independently
  • attendance at a volunteer induction and other relevant training opportunities
  • completion of a basic Disclosure Barring Service and character reference check
  • a commitment to working within the policies of Link Age Southwark, in particular health & safety, confidentiality, safeguarding and equality & diversity

We cover all reasonable expenses and we are happy to provide references for volunteers who have completed 6 months of volunteering with us.
