Services Make a referral Make a referral Link Age Southwark welcomes referrals of people who are aged 60 years and over, and people of any age with a confirmed diagnosis of mild to moderate dementia. 94% of the older people we work with say they are happy or very happy with our service. Befriending across Southwark We share a referral form with the other COPSINS befriending partners, Blackfriars Settlement and Time and Talents. We provide befriending for people living in the south of the borough, the area shaded blue in this map. Blackfriars Settlement provides Befriending for older people in the northwest areas of Southwark. More information about their programme can be found on their website by clicking here, or you can contact them by email at [email protected] or [email protected]. Time and Talents provides Befriending for older people in the Bermondsey, Rotherhithe and Surrey Quays area. More information about their programme can be found on their website by clicking here, or you can contact them by email at [email protected]. The map shows the coverage areas of the Ageing Well Southwark partners. Link Age Southwark’s catchment area is shown in blue, Time & Talents’ catchment area is shown in pink, and Blackfriars Settlement’s catchment area is shown in orange. This does not refer to Hospital Buddies (see below) - we take referrals for people from anywhere in Southwark who would like a Hospital Buddy. Please note that befriending may not be the best support for all older adults: Older people with serious mental health needs (excluding Dementia) are better supported by the Southwark Wellbeing Hub. Older adults with ongoing substance misuse issues are better supported by Change, Grow, Live in Southwark. How do I make a referral?
