We end our Lockdown Listens series with two short stories read by actor Pip Torrens

Link Age Southwark is very fortunate to have support from a great team of volunteers and ambassadors and we have been working with them to produce Lockdown Listens – a series of readings where our actor ambassadors read a short story or poem.

We hope you have enjoyed the series as much as we have. We thought it was only right to finish the series with a double edition and are pleased to present you with The Chaplet and Filboid Studge - the story of a mouse that helped by Saki and read by actor Pip Torrens.

About Pip Torrens

Pip has been an actor since graduating from Drama Studio London in the mid 80s. You might recognise him from many roles in film and television, including Poldark, Versailles, The Crown, The Iron Lady, Pride and Prejudice, The Danish Girl and many more.

He was born in Bromley and has lived in Dulwich with his family for many years. Pip became an Ambassador for Link Age Southwark in 2018 during our 25th birthday year.

You can find all editions in the series on the news page of our website. Enjoy!
