Our dedicated staff team have been keeping in regular weekly telephone contact with our group members, adapting activities to suit a telephone conversation rather than a group setting. For example, quizzes, word searches, spelling and word games, singing, reminiscence and general chats about well-being, all tailored to the individual and their tastes and abilities.
From 18 June the group moved to a Zoom version for those able to participate, while the others we remain in contact with via phone.
Please see details below for signing up to this group.

Thursday fortnightly, 1.30pm-3pm, SE21

Our Peer Activity Group is a sociable group that meets fortnightly for friendship, support and fun. All activities are tailored to provide stimulation and encourage engagement. Our team of staff choose activities that cater for a variety of interests, tastes and personalities, such as playing games and puzzles, intergenerational work with local schoolchildren, artwork, storytelling, reminiscence, theatre workshops, flower arranging and more.

"It's nice to be with people who don't keep saying I've forgotten"
