New service for older people and carers in Southwark

We are pleased to announce that we are helping to deliver a new borough-wide service for older people and carers. This
new service will be known as 'Ageing Well Southwark' - support for seniors and carers.

We will be delivering this new service in partnership with Southwark Council and our fellow members of COPSINS (Consortium of Older People's Services in Southwark) comprising Age UK Lewisham and Southwark, Blackfriars Settlement, Southwark Carers, Southwark Pensioners Centre and Time and Talents.

As part of this new service we will be running a weekly drop-in at the Tessa Jowell Health Centre in East Dulwich. From here we will be running IT support sessions and assistance with form filling, as well as offering appointments for the Happy Feet service and information and advice. This will all be happening alongside our usual services of befriending, parties and groups. Our practical support will continue and we can also make appointments for the Handyperson service.
