Do you provide transport to your groups?

Expand

Yes, if your mobility is restricted, we will do our best to provide transport to and from groups. You need to be able to get in and out of a car safely and independently.

We are also able to provide transport for wheelchair users, if you are able to self-transfer from your wheelchair.

Do you provide volunteers to do weekly shopping?

Expand

While some of our volunteers accompany older people to do their weekly shopping, either by car or on foot, as part of a befriending relationship, we do not provide a shopping service.

Our Information and Support Service can, however, point you in the direction of local shopping services.
