In Memory Donations

Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to celebrate their life. We have several ways that you can make a donation in memory:

Make a one-off donation

You can make a one-off donation through our easy to complete online form. We are so grateful for any donation we receive, no matter how big or small.

If you are making a donation in memory, please record the name of the person you're remembering in the comments section of the form so we can properly recognise the tribute you've made to them and their support for Link Age Southwark. If you would prefer to keep this information private, we fully respect your decision.

With you permission, and circumstances permitting, we would also like to send a letter to the appropriate person to let them know a donation has been made in their loved ones memory.

Collect donations through a funeral fund

If you would like to collect donations at a funeral, we can organise to send donation envelopes to you. Please contact us by calling 020 8299 2623 or by emailing [email protected]

Taking part in a challenge in their memory

If you would like to take part in a challenge fundraising event in memory of a loved one, we have relationships with two challenge event companies. More information can be found on our fundraising ideas page.

We would love to know if you are taking part in a challenge so we can offer you support with your fundraising efforts.

We're so grateful that you have thought of us during this difficult time. If you have any further questions about making an in memory donation, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via our contact form.

My experience as a volunteer

I've always worked in the NHS, mostly in paediatrics, and when I retired I wanted to do something equally rewarding but different so when I found that Link Age Southwark (Dulwich Helpline as it was then) was looking for befrienders for the elderly I thought this sounded exactly what I was looking for.
