In 1868 the Estates Governors of Alleyn’s College of God’s Gift (now The Dulwich Estate) built this red brick house with a long lawn leading to the remnants of the Great North Wood which now frames the garden, offering a tranquil stroll and a place to find rest, bathed in afternoon sun.

The 1/6th acre grounds were the former orchard of Beltwood House, with lawned gardens to front and rear. Attractive borders at the front feature a large goldfish stocked pond and dolphin fountain.
