Helen Hayes is Labour MP for Dulwich and West Norwood, first elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2017 and 2019. Before entering politics, Helen was a town planner for twenty years and a member of Southwark Council from 2010-2016.

Helen sits on the Communities and Local Government Select Committee in Parliament and works extensively on housing and homelessness issues, social care, and health and mental health amongst other issues.

Loneliness has a huge impact on physical and mental health, and Link Age Southwark plays such a valuable role in ensuring that older people have the support they need - I'm proud of the work that Link Age Southwark staff and volunteers do, living out care and compassion in our community and building relationships.
